NBC has renewed "Chicago Fire" for a second season, the network announced Friday.
The Dick Wolf-produced procedural has been one the Peacock network's few successful new shows of the 2013 TV season, averaging around 6 million viewers per episode. NBC has already commissioned a spinoff series that will focus on the Chicago police department.
NBC also renewed "Parenthood," "Grimm," "Law & Order: SVU" and "Revolution."
