LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles police say a 26-year-old man arrested in the stabbing death of an 11-year-old boy is the child's stepfather.
Officer Sarah Faden says the man was booked Tuesday for investigation of murder after being released from a hospital. His name has not been released.
